Founded in 2013 by Robert Halmi and Jim Reeve, Great Point Media specializes in the development, investment, distribution and sales of intellectual property in entertainment media. The U.K.-based company has helped bring to the screen over 40 feature films to date.
Vice President of Television Sales
A highly experienced television sales expert, Toby is responsible for licensing GPM's wide-ranging film and television product internationally, working closely with the marketing, legal and business affairs teams. He joined Great Point from multinational film, music and TV company Entertainment One.
Prior to eOne, he held senior sales positions at ITV GE, Content Media Corporation, Granada Television International, Pandora, Capitol Films, Granada LWT International and BBC Enterprises.
Head of Marketing
Peta has over twenty years of experience in the film and television business. She started her career in PR, at JAC Publicity, before moving into marketing roles at successive UK based film sales companies. As Head of Marketing for Cobalt Pictures, Element X, Omega Entertainment and Umedia she oversaw international marketing on a range of feature films, collaborating with major US studios as well as indie distributors.
At Great Point Media she manages publicity and marketing across the film and TV titles on the company’s international sales slate.
John has over 25 years’ experience in international sales selling series such as Dinotopia, Gullivers Travels, Cleopatra and 10th Kingdom, as well as the Lifetime & Hallmark movie library. Prior to joining GPM, John worked as Head of Sales at Sonar Entertainment on Ridley Scott’s Taboo with Tom Hardy, and John Favreau produced Shannara with clients including BBC and MTV.
With his fluency in four languages he is uniquely qualified to oversee all media distribution and has long term relationships with many international broadcasters including Sky, M6, TF1, Canal+, Mediaset Espana, RAI, TVE, France TV, ABC Australia, RTL, Channel 4, Netflix.
